Josh Aguiar is one of LA's up-and-coming trumpeters, pianists and composers in jazz and improvised music. While growing up in Los Angeles, Aguiar studied with legendary jazz cornetist Bob Bradford. Later he ventured out to Indiana University, Bloomington for undergraduate studies in jazz, graduating in 2000.
David Cohen is a very patient teacher who makes it fun to learn the music that you want to play. He has 25 years of experience in teaching classical, pop, and jazz to people of all ages.
David is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He is a working professional musician who has written music for television, film, and jingles. He also serves as the musical director of Temple Aliyah in Woodland Hills.
Jazz pianist and vocalist Anne Farnsworth divides her time between performing, teaching, and journalism. She has toured extensively in the States and abroad, both as a sideman and leader of her own trios and quartets.
Her columns, essays, reviews and interviews have appeared in Windplayer, Billboard Live, Jazz Notes, Tone Audio, All About Jazz - Los Angeles, and RealTalkLA. She writes a biweekly column for the Concord Music Group.
